Big Announcement!
Listen closely. Do you hear it?
That sound is the pitter patter of little feet doing Salsa inside Dawn's expanding belly.
Yes, Dawn and her boyfriend, Ricardo, are expecting a bundle of joy in mid-March. Congratulations to the ecstatic couple as they (and we!) welcome a new bundle of joy to the Salsa Iowa family.

Below is a poem written by one of our dancers, Dan Brown. He has an amazing book of poetry that you can preview and purchase at this site.

Music has more meaning.
Lyrics are more clear.
Rhythm is more heart felt,
while playing in my ear.

My heart won't stop singing
the songs that make me feel
happy for the moments
that just seem unreal.

My head is very dizzy,
even though I did not spin.
Through the dancing of my daydreams
that never seems to end.

Beneath, my feet are light
from the cloud I'm dancing on.
I could dance for hours,
but it won't seem that long.

With one single breath,
my energy's renew.
For I'm forever dancing,
when I am with you.
